Sonic Youth is large and intimidating. They basically curated the 1990s. They are totally best buds with the people that make underground culture happen across the world. If something cool is going to happen, if a renowned painter is starting a band, if a band is playing at a museum opening, if you've figured out how to make guitar feedback into a limited edition t-shirt, Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon will be there.
